Committed to Service + Formed by the Faith + Centered on Worship

Announcements

Formed by the Faith Classes - We will not have formed by the faith classes this week. Instead, we will have a time for conversation and fellowship.

Confirmation and Reception - The Bishop will make her Episcopal visitation on Sunday, March 2, 2025. Anyone interested in Confirmation, Reception, or Reaffirmation should reach out to Fr. Scott to determine next steps.

Please note, it is the practice of the Diocese of Central New York that candidates for Confirmation be high school aged or older.

Social Media (Facebook and Instagram) - Make sure you follow Christ Church on both Facebook and Instagram. You can click below to be taken directly to those sites. Sharing, commenting, and liking posts raised our profile within the algorithm, so others might have a chance to see what is happening here at Christ Church.

Outreach Opportunities

Winter Warmth Project - is collecting gloves, hats, scarves, and socks. Items can be placed in the basket in the Church or dropped off during office hours.

CHOW Pantry - We are collecting toilet paper and personal care items during the month of January. Our supply has been depleted, as many pantries do not offer these items. The donation basket is available in the hallway outside of the sanctuary. Your help in providing these items is greatly appreciated.

Katie's Closet - We are currently in need of Winter coats for all ages and sizes, children’s clothing and new socks and underwear for men and women. Items can be placed in the basket in the Church or dropped off during office hours. Volunteers are urgently needed, even for an hour or two a month. If you would like to volunteer, please contact Diane Button or Rick Pescatore.
