Committed to Service + Formed by the Faith + Centered on Worship

From the Rector

Beloved,

I am thrilled to announce the candidates for Vestry identified by our nominating committee.

David Rasey, who currently serves on the Vestry and has one year remaining has been nominated as Junior Warden.

Suzie Hiza has been nominated to complete David's term, and will serve for one year.

Kelly Bollinger, Jay Fish, and Debbie McLeod have been nominated for the full three year term.

I am so appreciative to these candidates for their willingness to serve our parish family. Likewise, I want to thank Susan MacLennan, Leah Cunningham, and Jim Ehmke for serving on the nominating committee.

The election will take place on Sunday, June 14 as part of the annual meeting (following our worship service). If you would like to bring a sidedish or dessert to share for the annual meeting, please sign up this Sunday in the Narthex.

Faithfully,

Scott+

Announcements

Second Sunday of Service - Next Sunday is our June Second Sunday of Service. Come early to help in Katie's Clothing Closet and then stay for Lunch with the Annual Meeting after worship.

Paint Part - On Tuesday, June 23, we are going to have a paint party from 3:00 p.m. until the evening hours (so those who work during the day can join, too). Let Susan MacLennan know if you would like to participate. You can email her at standys@christchurchbinghamton.org.

Katie’s Closet - This ministry is flourishing with an increasing amount of both patrons and donations!! As a result, we find we are in need of more volunteer staff. It is an extremely fulfilling opportunity for anyone who enjoys giving back to the community. It is entirely possible to volunteer for as little as an hour a month. Please prayerfully consider joining us in our very much needed mission. Diane Button - the volunteer coordinator - can be contacted at katiescloset@christchurchbinghamton.org.

Calling All Gardeners – The gardeners are resuming to meet on Tuesday evenings from
6:00 p.m. To 8:00 p.m. We would love to have you join us. We do have gardening
gloves and gardening tools, but feel free to bring your own. We weed, plant and mulch
areas around the church grounds. The work is gratifying and makes a big difference. Any
questions can be directed to Barb Stanton or Susan MacLennan.
