Formed by the Faith: Episcopal 101

Episcopal 101 is a four session class that uses the Baptismal Covenant to explain what it means to be Episcopalian. The Baptismal Covenant is the foundational standard of membership in joining an Episcopal Church, and it is what ever Episcopalian has vowed before God to live into.

Formed by the Faith: Salvation History

Salvation History is a five week class the examines significant moments in the Hebrew Scriptures where God demonstrates God’s faithfulness. Each session uses a principal reading from the Easter Vigil to frame “God’s saving deeds throughout time.”

Bible Study: Leviticus

The Book of Leviticus is the heart of the Torah… and it’s often associated with oppression, exclusion, and homophobia. When we read this portion of scripture as a list of laws, then it’s easy to reach the conclusion. However, when we step back look at this Book as part of the larger narrative of the Torah, we quickly see that there is a wisdom beneath the surface that then allows us to look at certain Laws with a new cultural understanding. This is a six session class.

Bible Study: Hebrews

The Letter to the Hebrews is best described as an early sermon in the Church. It pulls on themes from the Old Testament and lays out a case for why the Hebrew Scriptures point to Jesus.
